Keep it open. Filling it with rocks is just stupid. Why bother building the new tunnel just to tear down the only existing route to downtown from the North. An eye for an eye?
Why are the traffic lights not timed? And why is the carpool lane often empty, squeezing everyone in? Is is sustainable to have everyone idling for hours?
Build a bridge above the existing one. Use the existing one as structural support until the one above it is finished. Shouldn't take that much time or money, as long as we start now.
Cut down a few feet of the barricade and put in a timed traffic light. Keep things moving. Add a third access point through Aurora. Obviously Denny & Mercer are just not enough.
Path to nowhere! Keep only the ones that are heavily used and actually have a barricade protecting the bikers. It's like they started making them, then got confused, then just stopped.
If people could afford to live here, they wouldn't have to commute to work. The more you sell and develop, the more you push people out. Forcing them to commute but expecting them not to drive. This isn't New York.
