We must hold our 'Elected Leaders' accountable to the 'promises' they make during campaigns, so that if or when they FAIL to deliver during their tenure, they at MINIMUM, give an explanation and say why.
Seattle has a ‘spending’ problem, not a ‘revenue’ problem. Taxpayers deserve to know where and how their money is being spent. The answer always seems to be more money, taxes, or another study.
WE MUST ensure the needs of the general public are prioritized over ‘special interest(s)’ by conducting regular audits at every city level. Hold elected individuals and local leaders at every level personally and professionally accountable.
Implement common sense solutions that will address the crises that have left thousands on Seattle’s sidewalks, streets, and parks where criminal activity continues to run rampant.
The City of Seattle cannot continue to just talk, study, or spend their way out of these problems. It is the taxpayers who are footing the bill.
Improve public safety while also rebuilding trust between the public and our safety providers.
Establish training sites for individuals displaced or unemployed in order to increase the supply of skilled workers and add high-paying jobs that meet current workforce demands.
Immediately deal with the amount of waste and trash that continues to accumulate around the city and its perimeter.
